I'm still disappointed my campaign to have Spinner's 720 double whip named "The Meatspin" never took off.

Vince Byron won. Bestwick still may have had the better runs though. Super close score between 1st and 2nd.

I haven't watched the X-Games in forever but they've really come up on the sponsors. Skate vert is the "Fruit of the Loom skateboard vert finals".

so hucker ones again hang 5's into a roll-in, comes up short on the 2nd double, but still try's a double backflip on the 3rd set?
i don't know what is wrong with him, but don't change, cause i love it!

also, scotty is giving good knowledge. they should keep him (although i would prefer if he could ride it again)

Why is freestyle motocross still so popular? Does it get really good ratings? Motocross seems like such a niche sport limited basically to socal. Accessibility seems way more limited that skate/bmx and even snow sports. There is an event right now that's just "whips".

there have been medals, but i don't know if someone got the gold.

i usually follow the mark webb quote of "3 is one to much" but since foster was the one who was the first ever to do a tripple tailwhip he can do them as much as he wants for me.

So big congratulations James Foster!!!

abc site says dirt in 10 minutes on ABC

I'm noticing several top BMX dudes wearing blank shirts during competition. I might be reading too much into it, but I think it's a smart move to tell current sponsors, "Hey, you're not supporting me enough to deserve this level of advertising", as well as signaling to potential sponsors that it's an available billboard space.

If monster sponsors events, they specifically put into their contract that all other competing energy drink company logos cannot be displayed.

You want true annoyance? Go to the local eatery/bar after a couple hr session at the park, and listen to the semi-drunk old lady in the next booth commentate on the skateboard park finals and how her grandson doesn't fall off his board like that and the dude in pink flower pants is probably gay. My kids told me to shut up when I was talking about telling her what's up. She got quiet though, so I guess she heard us. I can remember when old people had no idea what this stuff is, so I guess that's progress?

I bet you almost anything that's what it is. If your some company that just shelled out thousands of dollars for a TV spot, the last thing you want to see is some guy repping a competitor on the broadcast for free.

Side note: Anyone remember when Moeller wasn't allowed to wear an S&M shirt at a GT sponsored,TV aired race, back in the 90's, so he wore a "GT SUCKS" shirt instead? It made the broadcast and the production team went bananas and told him to change next moto. He came back with a "Todd Huffman (then GT executive) SUCKS." Love it.

I was stoked to see Devon Smilie get silver in street. His parents owned the bike shop in the old Rampage park in Atlanta way back in the early 00's. Even when he was 6-7 he was blasting huge over the big box jump. Great to see him do well, I hope Fly is paying him well.

'Strayan cunts are alright. If you've watched anything from Backbone BMX you'll see they have just as many dudes drinking beer in the woods and carving bowls as they do foampit jocks.

I think it just happens that they have lots of good parks there, lots of good weather the ride in, and are bred from a lineage of criminals who must have had high degrees of coordination, a taste for sending it, and good reaction time.

In all my years i've never met a scottish lad that could hold his own fighting after a load of pints

But they do return to drinking not long after being knocked on their arse, which im totally fine with

Aus park dudes are sound for the most part. Some take things way too seriously, but theres street dudes who do the same. They're just at a high level, and all dress and look the same way so it seems jockish as fuck.
