Been looking at Cults 26" cruiser and also the Taj.

Who's got one of these or something similar and what are your thoughts?

It will be my "have fun on the way to work" bike. I already ride a single speed 29er but that has taken on child and grocery carrying roles now. Need something to thrash around the traffic and have some fun on.

i have an older wtp Unified 24" thats tricked out with some lighter parts i bought from a racer dude. i love riding it around as its really light and checkable, easy to hop and manual. only downside is the lowslung top tube means i have to run a stupidly long seatpost for cruising about. this looks goofy.
looks kinda like this-
https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/202 53_277915708322_363716_n.jpg?oh=f0abc49400fea3d1a7fb0250ff8fa33a&oe=5AA76C51

i run 8" bars which makes a 24" feel way more like a 20"

i also have this 26" Sunn Bmix which is a french bike from the 90s, it's got a few cool bits like profiles with ti axle, sealed hubs, odyssey pedals. etc

https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t 1.0-9/409556_10151235994293323_648008122_n.jpg?oh=c5111e008fc5f406262ddf4ca3861b8e&oe=5AA2A748

it is cool to pedal around, but forget trying to wheelie it, and hopping is tough.

theres a few more versions of these bikes on bmxmuseum.com that are far cooler than mine.

i feel if you want to dabble in a little trails or park, then a 24" is the way to go, 26" is nowhere near as chuckable, however i'd love to try an aitken or taj cruiser to see how it compares.

I don't know why, but i've always loved those old Sunn bikes. They had a stacked team back in the day too.

I have a 24" Sunday and kind of regret buying it instead of a 26" cruiser or DJ bike. The geometry is uncomfortable, for lack of a better word, thanks to the low slung top tube. The Taj looks like a blast for cruising around.

Ive got a Taj and love it. The rear end is super long so manuals are a real chore but for cruising around town it rides like a dream. Drop the seat and it cruises the bowls just as well.

I just built this monster truck that resembles a BMX bike.

BMX's are the bikes you ride on sweet trails in the woods, no?

Damn you nuge. I've had my eye on a Chromag all year but just can't justify how little I'd be using it.

I've always been fascinated with them but as little as I get to ride the bikes I already have, if I did have one I'd only get to it semi-annually at best, unfortunately. If I could commute via bike and it was a relatively flat ride I would consider one, although I would guess a 26 or 29 would be faster, right?

I really want a Taj and maybe get one this spring if I have the money, I think I read somewhere that they changed the geometry and the back end is a bit shorter for manuals and stuff compared to previous years.

The frame was literally sitting in my work stand for 3 months, the parts for it came off my normal full squish bike when I cracked the linkage last week... New full squish bike arrives next week. 2 new bike days in one month!

if we're getting into mtb talk, my roommate built me this frame and it's awesome, hadn't ridden one since 99/2000 when i stopped racing downhill.
